Service Learning / Environmental / Ecology Programme
serve the environment and learn in the outdoor classroom!
Aims to:
give students a first-hand, in-depth experience of a local habitat
help students learn through an environment based service (Community Involvement Project – CIP)

As: curriculum content coverage, enrichment, science club activities, holiday programme, post-exam programme
For : Secondary 1 – 3 students (13-15 year olds)
Habitats : Seashore, mangrove forests and rainforest
No of hours : 6-10 hours

Sec 4 Biology

Aims to:
give students a hands-on content coverage of Theme IV of Biology 5100 (GCE O Levels)
For : Secondary 3 – 5 students (15-17 year olds)
No of hours : 10 hours

Gardening For Life
learn life science through horticulture
Aims to:
help students apply their curriculum topics and in the meantime, learn a skill like horticulture help students develop science process skills

As: curriculum content, enrichment, science club activities, holiday programme, post-exam programme
For : Secondary 1-3 (13-15 year olds)
No of hours : 8 -10 hours, over 4-5 weeks
Venue : In school

Low trainer to student ratio
Optional:
  - as an entrepreneurial project
  - to include a fieldtrip

Ubin Bike Hike
a learning journey on bicycle
Aims to:
a learning journey on Pulau Ubin (using bicycles) that covers Science and Geography subjects ( Topics include Science: ecosystems, environmental issues; Geography: energy needs, water, transport, agriculture, ecotourism), national education conservation, island economy;
help students appreciate Pulau Ubin as a national heritage
develop biking skills

As: curriculum content coverage, enrichment, science club activities, holiday programme, post-exam programme

For : Secondary 1-3 (13-15 year olds)
No of hours : 6 hours
Venue : Pulau Ubin
Requirement : students able to ride a bicycle moderately well
Numbers : 40 students for each day trip

Develop an appreciation for our local heritage and culture
 
     
 
Marine Life Workshop (Advanced)

Aims to:
Give older students greater insights of the oceans:
Diversity of marine life, environmental issues and conservation


For : Secondary 1-5 (13-17 year olds)
No of hours : 3 hours
     
Highlights :  
Special guided tour through the oceanarium
Students receive comprehensive notes and a certificate
   
 
     
     
  We can design customised programmes to meet your school’s curriculum needs, including:
IPW (Integrated Project Work) - ecology and environment based projects
Southern island exploration – uncover local habitats
