Safety is our utmost priority. It is reflected in all stages of our programmes:
• Planning of programme
• Conduct of a recce (reconnaissance) of the location before the programme
• Practice good hygiene during and after the programmes (e.g. washing up well after a fieldtrip or community service)
• Having a safety vehicle at each fieldtrip location
• Conduct a safety briefing for all participants
• First aid trained instructors
• Instructors carry first aid kits
• Safe practices concerning thunderstorms (lightning)
• Have a low Instructor ratio
• Practice safety around water bodies (sea or reservoir)
