Science Play™ Learning Stations
  Big Picture™ Murals
  Eco Learning Zones
Our Learning Spaces products can turn a simple corridor or an unused corner in school into a total learning environment. Integrate Science Play™ Learning Stations, Big Picture™ Murals, Interactive Science Wall™ Panels and Eco Learning Zones for a complete learning experience.

Science Play™ Learning Stations are specially designed interactive systems that encourage experimentation and experiential learning of science. They stimulate students to get hands-on to explore scientific concepts and simply make science come alive! May be teacher-led or a self contained learning session by itself! Comes complete with lesson plan and information panel of instructions and explanations.

Parabolic Sound Reflector

Two dishes with concave parabolic surfaces facing one another about 10-15m apart. One dish acts as the transmitter and the other the receiver. Illustrates principle of satellite dishes, concave mirrors, solar heaters and cookers.

Newton’s Colour Wheel™

Coloured disc painted with the colours of the spectrum, mounted vertically on a post. Disc is spun quickly using a mechanical crank and gear system. Illustrates that white light is made up of a composite of light at different frequencies (colours).

Hydraulic Chairs

Hydraulic cylinders mounted vertically on the ground connected by tubing. Pressure applied to hydraulic fluid in one cylinder drives the piston in the other. Illustrates the principle of hydraulics – a force applied at one point is transmitted to another point via an incompressible liquid.

Roller Coaster Model
Miniature, realistic roller coaster model (1:48 scale) on a platform with lockable Perspex cover that can be removed for demonstration. The model is fully functional via gravity and is powered by an electric lift, Illustrating the conversion of potential and kinetic energy.

Moments SeeSaw™
See-saw symmetrically or asymmetrically balanced on a pivot. Graduated scale on for measuring distance from central pivot point. A student will sit on one arm of the see-saw and weights placed on the other arm at various distances from the centre to balance the weight of the student. The weight of the student can then be calculated using the equation of moments. Illustrates Principle of Moments.

3D Periodic Table™
An interactive 3-dimensional periodic table that invites students to flip colourful infocubes filled with information and pictures of the elements. Illustrates Mendeleev’s Periodic Law and helps students understand patterns and trends in the chemical properties of elements.

The visual impact of wall murals is used to good effect in our Big Picture™ Murals, which serve to captivate the attention of learners through the use of attractive colours and engaging illustrations. Our murals are both large and eye-grabbing and yet contain a huge amount of detail. They are ideal for visually capturing concept and process maps. Students will pore over them for hours!

Eco Learning Zones are areas developed for the learning of
life science and ecology. We design, develop and construct:

Eco Gardens
Eco Ponds
Eco Streams
Aquatic Habitat Displays

Unlike a typical landscaping project, Eco Learning Zones are designed with student interaction and the experiential learning process in mind. They not only beautify school premises, but also serve an educational purpose! Comes with educational information panels, and lesson plans.
