This series of booklets and teacher’s guide on trees was written and designed for the Young Arborist Programme offered by the National Parks Board. They were written to support an educational programme for Upper Primary and Lower Secondary students that aims to instill an appreciation for the importance of trees and their value to people. Through fun activities designed in the illustrated booklets, students also learn about common wayside trees and Heritage Trees; and how to identify them. The Teacher’s Guide contains lesson plans designed to guide teachers in the conduct of the Programme. |
